The 12 Days of Christmas


HO, HO, HO…How To Enjoy Christmas Guilt Free!

I want for you to be able to enjoy this great time of the year. With all the great Christmas party’s, family time, and the great shopping the last thing you want to worry about is losing or maintaining your weight. I know, I know, but Coach JC  “it is the one thing that is constantly on my mind.”  There is no magic pill but there are some ways for you to be smart during this holiday season so that you can maintain or even lose weight!  It is not as hard as people have made it and now I want to present to you  my twelve days of Christmas!

Coach JC’s Twelve Days of Christmas

On the 1st Day of Christmas my Bootcamp Tulsa Coach gave to me…Get Accountability!

If you do not have someone to hold you accountable do so immediately! Have someone that you trust help hold you accountable to your goals during the holiday season.

On the 2nd Day of Christmas my Bootcamp Tulsa Coach gave to me…Moderation Baby!

Everything is ok in moderation but be careful to not allow your moderation to turn into a regular habit. Stay true to your plan most of the time but have fun in moderation.

On the 3rd Day of Christmas my Bootcamp Tulsa Coach gave to me… Have Fun and spend time with your family! Enjoy this time and have fun at the Christmas Parties. Make sure to have fun! Do not allow this weight loss on your mind ruin your time. Start to develop the mentality that you are going to have fun. If you apply these Twelve Days of Christmas keys you will have the peace of mind to enjoy yourself.

On the 4th Day of Christmas my Bootcamp Tulsa Coach gave to me… Set your goals before you go party!

Set your goals and know what they are. Make them concrete! Once you make them concrete be sure to tell your accountability partner what they are so that they can hold you to them.

On the 5th Day of Christmas my Bootcamp Tulsa Coach gave to me… Stay true to the plan baby!

What is your plan to not allow this fun time of the year  to contribute to you packing on some pounds?? Stay true to your plan to the best of your ability during the Holiday season. Right now your plan may just be to follow these Twelve Days of Christmas. If that is the case then stay true to it!

On the 6th Day of Christmas my Bootcamp Tulsa Coach gave to me… Portion sizes even when you drink coffee!

It is ok to enjoy the foods that you like during this Holiday season. Just make sure to enjoy them in small portions! If you can just make sure to watch the portion sizes of what you eat you will feel a lot better about enjoying those great foods and treats during the Holiday season.

On the 7th Day of Christmas my Bootcamp Tulsa Coach gave to me… Self control will be key!

Have self control! Know what you want to get accomplished and have the self control to make the right decisions on a daily basis so that you accomplish your goals. I will make this easier on you after you read the 8th Day.

On the 8th Day of Christmas my Bootcamp Tulsa Coach gave to me… Ask yourself why and what makes you happy.

Why are you doing what you do? Why do you want to lose weight? Why do you want to live a healthier life? Once you know why you will be able to remind yourself of this when times get tough. Constantly remind yourself of why you are doing this. This will help to develop a self control and assist you in staying true to the plan. This will be your motivation when times get tough.

On the 9th Day of Christmas my Bootcamp Tulsa Coach gave to me… Make wise choices today and try not to be naughty!

It sounds so simple but you have got to discipline yourself to make wise choices. During this time you will have the opportunity to make decisions. That is what life is all about…You are where you are today because of the decisions that you made yesterday. You are in control! What a great feeling to know that you determine the outcome of your future. During this holiday season make wise decisions in the foods that you choose, the time that you choose them and how much you choose.

On the 10th Day of Christmas my Bootcamp Tulsa Coach gave to me… Exercise and work that booty!

Make sure to stay active. You have got to continue to burn calories during this time of the year. Do not take time of exercising. This will ensure that you are burning some of those extra calories that you are taking in. If you are not that active begin to be during this time. Take a walk with the family…just stay moving!

On the 11th Day of Christmas my Bootcamp Tulsa Coach gave to me… Be realistic, REALLY!

Please be realistic! Set realistic goals during this time. Take steps to your success. Do not try to accomplish everything in one day, not even one week! Just focus on being successful one day at a time, one meal at a time…These days will add up!

On the 12th Day of Christmas my Bootcamp Tulsa Coach gave to me… Just Do It baby!

Just do it! How bad do you want this?  Just do it! Do the right things so that you can accomplish your goals. Don’t put it off any longer… Just Do It!!!
